15. Muhammad & The Cat

Learn further, that one common chain runs through the heavenly plan, And links in bonds of brotherhood the beetle and the man; Both fair and foul alike from Him, the Lord of Love, do spring- And this believe, He loves not well who loves not everything                                         -- Leitch Ritchie Prophet Muhammad was the founder of the Islam, or Muhammadan (Muslim) religion. He taught that all living beings, whether men or animals, should be treated alike.      Many interesting incidents in his life are told showing his real love for animals. I will now tell you one of them.      The Prophet had a pet cat which he loved very much. Once the cat was sleeping on the folds of his robe. The Prophet had to get up.
